Taz's Page

Taz was adopted in April from the local Humane Society. They were told that he was a lab mix, but Rita knew he was too small to be. She and their Vet determined that he might be a mix of Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound, but having been found as a stray, no one's really sure. The Humane Society also said at the time of adoption that he was approximately 4 months old, but the Vet said he was closer to 7 months. As a former stray, these things are clearly guesswork.

He's a real tiger! Very tenacious, and won't back down from anything, including a hugely larger dog. But, he's also very loving and quite bright. He obviously had had some prior training, as he already responded to commands such as sit, stay and shake hands. In five minutes, Rita taught him how to do a high five. He certainly has filled the void in our lives.
